My work largely grew out of  Scollon’s Mediated Discourse Analysis, Gumperz’ and Tannen’s Interactional Sociolinguistics, the work of Goffman, and Kress and Van Leeuwen’s approach to multimodality.

Ausserdem schreibe ich Gedichte, etc..  Viele dieser Gedanken entspringen ebenfalls der multimodalen Studie des Menschen und der Gesellschaft.
